 About the Alchemist Profession:
This profession gathers plants and flowers.
Alchemists can make potions and all kinds of dyes.
You get exp to level the profession from both gathering and crafting.

Why should I level Alchemist ?
Ideal starting out profession as equiptment & resources required are fairly cheap.
At higher levels you can make good money selling potions.
You can make energy and health potions so you'll never ghost or need to sit.
You can make potions to unlearn skills and professions.
You can make potions to recall you to zap dofus kamas, alignment city or house.
As with most professions you will receive a 1000 pods increase when your profession hits level 100.

How long will it take me ?
It took me around 25-40 hours, this was because the areas you need to go to collect some flours are camped constaintly by other players doing the same as you, so then its luck you need on your side. If you have leveled baker or farmer, i would say that its a little hard than them professions overall.

How do I start out ?
(Easy) If you start in Incarnam talk to Foreman Ikure at (3,3). You are now an alchemsit dofus kamas.

(Hard) However, if you can't get to Incarnam and are free to play (f2p) you cannot learn the profession. You need to be pay to play (p2p) in order to do the quest required to learn this profession.

To take the quest go to one of the following locations (1,16) or (7,2) and talk to Uba Tesse. You then need to talk to the following people in order:-
1. Talk to Boff Chalon at (-2,-2).
2. Talk to Kande Boffler at (4,12).
3. Talk to Benn Zin at (1,31).
4. Talk to Vid Cheber at (11,16).

After seeing off Vid you will get "Green Fingers" the tool of the alchemist.

Should I stockpile resources ?
Yes. Save all your flowers in your bank until you have enough for making a set amount of potions, say 300 or 500 or 1000 depending on your pods avalible. Also consider that you can make good money with higher level potions, so you could first gather alot of resources needed to make a higher level potion that you cant make when you first start. For example you know that by level 60 you can make a fairy potion so start collecting / stockpiling resources for a massive amount of them when you get to that level.
